Deep House Destinations

 

Cape Towns place in South African music culture is perhaps not talked about as rivals Johannesburg and Pretoria for their incredible wealth of talent, but make no mistake Cape Town has the heavy hitting names to deserve its place in folk law! There is such great talent in all genres of music from hip hop, techno, through to deep house across Cape Town with a ever growing deep house scene especially worth note.

 

The city is home to one of the countries best known events, mix series’ in We House Sundays, originally a collaboration between Soul Revolution, Nomadic Music and Clarity Audio - well worth checking out on Soundcloud.

 

Cape Town Record Labels

The cities record labels are few and far between with Matt Prehn’s two sister labels Oh So Coy Recordings and Rogue Decibels being the only one’s I’ve been able to discover so far.
