DJ/Producer, Ian Pooley’s career began back in 1991. After a long stretch with V2 Records in which Pooley released several very successful albums (Meridian and Since Then) Pooley left V2 and started his own record company, Pooled Music, in 2003. Other releases featured on Force Inc , NRK , pooledmusic , Transmat , Plus8 , Innervisions, Ovum, Tsuba and many more.

Hailing from Mainz, near Frankfurt, Germany, Ian Pooley, alongside other nu school German artists such as Mousse T., Boris Dlugosch and partner in crime, DJ Tonka, has been swapping the traditional hard trance/techno sounds typical of some German clubs for the funky and sublime sounds imported from America, to great effect for years.

Over twenty years into his career, Ian Pooley continues to be an ever-present favourite of house and techno fans and DJs, Pooley remains a highly regarded and respected figure within modern electronic music.
