Founded by Hisa Ishioka in 1993, King Street Sounds is one of the oldest and most respected independent dance music labels in NYC. Its sister labels Street King and Nite Grooves, King Street has put out some of the best dance music releases in house, deep and tech house, Afro and Latin Jazz from producers Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, Louie Vega, Danny Tenaglia, Joeski, David Morales, Supernova, DJ Spinna, and Larry Levan and more.
