Peggy Gou

Last Night a DJ Saved My Life

Peggy Gou is a Berlin based Korean Dj/producer, with a deep house to techno slant. She appeared from nowhere in 2016 releasing four 12” EP’s of house.

A former London College of Fashion student, she came to fame with a string of mixes of dark, pulsing house and techno, broken beats and abstract compositions. Her releases have featured on some quality labels too - from Rekids, Phonica, Ninja Tune to Toolroom and Defected. In other words - huge labels!

Peggy has supported Dj’s like Moodymann at his DJ-Kicks album launch, and gigs alongside The Black Madonna, Jackmaster and DJ Koze and received global media attention from international press including The Guardian, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, FACT, i-D, Thump and Dummy, plus heavy airplay support at BBC Radio 1.

In 2019 she launched Gudu Records, and released a DJ-Kicks compilation, DJ-Kicks: Peggy Gou, on !k7 Record. Also that year she released her first music video for her hit 2019 track Starry Night exclusively on Apple Music, directed by Jonas Lindstroem, and once again featured Yoo Ah-in, the lead actor in the award-winning South Korean film, Burning.[31][32] The music video was released worldwide on YouTube in September 2019
