Dwson (pronounced Dawson) is a Cape Town-based producer and rated as one of the most sought-after electronic artists in South Africa currently. His tracks have featured on labels including Jimpsters Freerange Records, Stay true Sounds, Toolroom, DeepWit (his debut release came on Alvaro’s label in 2015), Get Physical and more.

His style isn’t limited to deep house, but make no mistake his use of vocals is sublime, a nod to his soulful skills and jazz music appreciation. He names Jullian Gomes, Atjazz, Detroit Swindle, Days Dolls, and Alex Sousa as his house inspirations.

As a Dj he’s played Cape Town Electronic Music Festivals, Oppikoppi, RedBull Music Academy, ULTRA, Rocking the Daisies, Synergy and Design Indaba to name but a few.
